Illegal Immigration - An open letter to our representatives....    The current proposal is a gift of my tax dollars to illegal aliens.  I believe, many of the problems currently facing our country are a direct result of the illegals. Schools, health care, crime, traffic are all being stretched because of the illegals. Criminals (illegal aliens) do not have the right to step in front of U. S. citizens. Every time they receive free health care, every time they go to our schools, every time they drive on our roads, they steal from each of us (the citizens of this country).  Clearly, I think congress is on the wrong track.

The 12 million illegals that have entered this country under the watch of this government,  with a wink and a nod by government officials who swore to uphold our laws. This urks me to no end.  The illegals are mostly good people trying to have a better life for themselves and their families. The problem is that its at the expense of my fellow citizens’ futures and the futures’ of our children. This goes to my main point; the purpose of government is to protect the citizens of that country.  For the last 20 plus years, ours has failed to protect us from the threat of illegal aliens.

I would like to see an immigration bill that prosecutes government officials who fail to report illegals. The bill should remove federal funding from every local government and agency that does not report and/or detain illegals.

Until measures like this are included, we are repeating the 1986 debacles (Citizenship for illegals at tax payers expense).  Congress people and President Bush, please do a better job than the current proposal.  Step up and do the right thing for this country and its citizens.  Nationalize our boarders...... 

Just to put this in perspective, illegal aliens cost tax payers $89 Billion dollars a year or roughly $20K per illegal alien.  This is according to the Heritage Foundation (a washington DC think tank) http://www.heritage.org/

Governor Jerry Brown - I’ve got to admit, over the 1st 200 days the governor is doing a good job.  His proposals are balanced and conservative approaches to fixing the State of California's budget.  Taking the funds from development agencies, freezing hiring, getting rid of unneeded vehicles and more are good ideas.  I don't like extending the temporary taxes, but will vote for them, if he keeps the other cuts he has proposed.  As a right wing conservative, I am very impressed with his start on these very difficult issues.  The Republicans need to recognize and support this balanced approach.  Keep it up Jerry.....  

How’s that hope and change working for you - is Obama this generations Jimmy Carter? - Oboma is as ill equipped as Carter was to govern.  As you probably recall, Carter brought us the Iran hostage crisis and can be blamed for the current government in Iran.  Obama will make the same mistakes as his predecessor (Carter) did in managing our government.  Under Carter we had the highest interest rates and poorest economy in the modern era.  Get ready for high inflation, high unemployment and high taxes.  Where Carter was a humble man, Obama is an arrogant and pompous ass.  He clearly believes his own BS. 

Obama’s FCC is attempting to take control of the internet.- The FCC at the direction of the Obama administration is quietly trying to impose Net Neutrality€� as judged by them.  This is an attempt at quieting any free speech that this administration does not agree with before it can be read.  This is an unbelievable act of fascism by this administration.

In answer to this blatant abuse of power Senator McCain has introduced a bill in the Senate called the Internet Freedom Act.

Illegal Immigrants are criminals.  Catch them, deport them and enforce our laws.

In California, our local officials have failed to follow their oaths of office to enforce our laws.  They are no longer public servants, but instead view themselves as our betters.  They see themselves as our rulers, not public servants.  These mayors have put in place policies of ignoring illegal aliens.  This is a clear violation of federal law.   The cost of providing benefits to illegals is bankrupting the state and federal governments.  The current estimate is that every citizen is pay $1,600 per year for illegal alien benefits.

Balance the budget - send them home.
